Opening address at the 50th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference and presentation of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award among highlights of Governor General’s program in Quebec City September 1, 2004 OTTAWA - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, will be in residence at La Citadelle, in Quebec City, from September 2-9, 2004. Governor General Clarkson will take part in events such as the presentation of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the opening address at the 50th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference and will give the keynote speech at the opening ceremonies of the International Ombudsman Institute's eighth international conference.
