Ottawa, October 15, 2004 2004-066 Related document: Backgrounder - Commission for Africa - General Overview The Department of Finance today launched an online consultations initiative on African development. The consultation is open to non-governmental organizations, individuals and businesses with an interest in African development. Submissions will be received until November 30, 2004. The Web initiative is a follow-up to consultations conducted by Minister of Finance Ralph Goodale in Calgary, Ottawa and Montréal September 21-22, as part of his role as a member of the Commission for Africa.
