VANCOUVER - On November 8, the Honourable Senator Jack Austin will speak at Resource Expo 2004, a conference hosted by the Native Investment and Trade Association that focuses on increasing Aboriginal participation in resource-related opportunities. Senator Austin will speak on behalf of the Honourable R. John Efford, Minister of Natural Resources Canada, and the Honourable Joe Volpe, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development. His remarks will focus on the Sustainable Communities Initiative, part of GeoConnections, and the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Partnership program.
