UNIFORMS FOR RCMP SCARBOROUGH -- A $401,691 competitive contract has been awarded to Gold-Tex Garment Manufacturing Ltd., of Scarborough, Ontario, to manufacture and deliver blue trousers to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The company will manufacture and deliver 11,535 pairs of blue unisex trousers by May 2005 to RCMP headquarters in Ottawa. It will further supply an estimated 105 special-size trousers on an as-and-when-requested basis up until June 2006. STORM COATS FOR THE RCMP SCARBOROUGH -- A $292,654 competitive contract has been awarded to A&W Uniforms, of Scarborough, Ontario, to manufacture 2,715 storm coats on behalf of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The company will deliver the coats to RCMP headquarters in Ottawa for distribution to its divisions across the country.
