Global Export Forecast and Outlook for Nova Scotia

November 15, 2004 Export Development Canada (EDC) senior vice-president and chief economist Stephen Poloz will be in Halifax on Tuesday, November 16th briefing key exporters on EDC's outlook for the global and Canadian economies over the next year. The theme of EDC's Global Export Forecast is "Global Economy: Not too hot, not too cold". The forecast is a comprehensive examination of global economic and trade conditions and trends that help exporters and investors identify foreign market opportunities and risks. Mr. Poloz will also be speaking about the outlook for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island, which will be issued on the same day. Mr. Poloz will be available to meet with media at 10 A.M. following his presentation.
