PUBLIC NOTICE: ALEXANDRA BRIDGE - LANE NARROWING OR CLOSURE

Tuesday, November 16, 2004 For immediate release GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists, pedestrians and cyclists using the Alexandra Bridge that inspection work will cause the bridge lanes to be narrowed or closed as follows: Pedestrian/cyclist boardwalk Wednesday, November 17 to Sunday, November 28 The boardwalk will be narrowed to 1.8 metres. Ottawa-bound lane Monday, November 22 to Tuesday, November 30 The lane will be narrowed to 3 metres. Gatineau-bound lane Sunday, November 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The lane will be closed to all traffic. The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
