C O R R E C T I O N OTTAWA, January 14, 2005 -- On Monday, January 17th 2005, the Honourable John Godfrey, Minister of State (Infrastructure and Communities) will embark on a week-long tour of Canada's north. During the week, Minister Godfrey will host a series of bi-lateral meetings and round table sessions with territorial and municipal government representatives and community stakeholders in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Pangnirtung and Iqaluit. He will also be making infrastructure announcements with the three territorial governments. At several points during the week, Minister Godfrey and other representatives will be available for media questions and interviews. Highlights of the Ministerial tour are listed below.
