February 4, 2004 OTTAWA -- Minister Bennett will be hosting and participating in the Symposium on Traditional Diet and Diabetes, bringing together leading researchers with leaders from public health institutions, health research institutions, Aboriginal health service agencies and First Nations and Inuit communities to discuss the potential for turning the tide of diabetes in the Aboriginal population. She will be available to answer questions from the media.
