March 11, 2005 -- Schneider Foods is warning consumers with allergies to sesame not to consume Schneiders Lunchmate Stackers (Ham, Turkey, Kielbassa) and No Name Lunch Box (Ham, Turkey) purchased from retail stores with code dates BEST BEFORE / MEILLEUR AVANT AL 15, AL 16, AL 17, AL 18, AL 19, AL 20, AL 21, AL 22. No other codes are affected by this alert. The affected Schneiders Lunchmate product was sold nationally and the affected No Name Lunch Box product was sold in Western Canada only (west of Thunder Bay, Ontario). The crackers in the affected product may contain sesame that is not declared on the label. These products pose a risk to individuals that have an allergy to sesame for whom consumption of this product may cause a serious reaction. There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of this product.
