ESCAPE MECHANISM FOR LOBSTER TRAPS IN LFAs 23 AND 25

March 31, 2005 - MONCTON -- The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Gulf Region, wishes to remind lobster fishers from Lobster Fishing Areas (LFAs) 23 and 25 that their condition of licenses will include a regulatory height size of 40 mm for escape mechanisms.
