The funding of $256,438 is intended to help the participants to make a successful transition to the workplace. "Through the Ancrage project, participants will have the opportunity to gain work experience and self-confidence while providing useful quality services to the community," said Minister Robillard. "This is why the Government of Canada is proud to provide funding to organizations that help youth build themselves a brighter future." Under the Ancrage project, the Community Futures Development Corporation of D'Autray-Joliette will help 11 youth to develop employability skills and abilities to enable them to enter the labour market, return to school, or start their own business.
