April 15, 2005 No. A/33 Canada’s International Policy Statement will be launched on April 19, 2005, by Foreign Affairs Minister Pierre Pettigrew, National Defence Minister Bill Graham, International Cooperation Minister Aileen Carroll and International Trade Minister Jim Peterson. A lock-up briefing will precede the tabling in Parliament. Members of the media are invited to the lock-up briefing. Senior officials will be available to answer questions, and copies of Canada’s International Policy Statement will be distributed in the room. The briefing will provide background information only, and is not for quotation or attribution to any named individual.
