Plaque Unveiling to Honour Chemical Warfare Agent Test Veterans

OTTAWA - Vice-Admiral Greg Jarvis, Assistant Deputy Minister of Human Resources-Military will unveil a plaque to honour the contributions of veterans who volunteered to take part in chemical warfare agent testing at the Chemical Warfare Laboratories in Ottawa during the Second World War. The plaque unveiling ceremony will take place Sunday, April 24 th on the grounds of the National Research Council of Canada, 100 Sussex Drive. The memorial plaque, overlooking the former site of the Chemical Warfare Laboratories, will recognize the exceptional service of the chemical warfare agent test veterans.
