Governor General to meet with Princess Margriet of the Netherlands

May 11, 2005 OTTAWA – Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, will receive Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands, and her husband Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven, at Rideau Hall on Friday, May 13, 2005. The couple's official visit to Canada is part of a series of events to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands. 12:30 p.m. – Private meeting Private meeting with Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven.
