The Honourable Stéphane Dion to Recognize Students for Their Involvement in Greening Their School Yard

GATINEAU, June 9 2005 - Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Stéphane Dion, Minister of the Environment, will visit the students from La Traversée primary school in Gatineau during Canadian Environment Week. The Minister will congratulate the students for participating in the Greening Canada’s School Grounds program. This project is coordinated by the Tree Canada Foundation and is partially sponsored by Alstom. The Minister will then participate in a tree planting activity with the students.
