OTTAWA - A fun-filled day of family activities awaits you on the grounds of Rideau Hall on Saturday, July 9, 2005,
at the 22nd annual Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Teddy Bears' Picnic.
The day kicks off with the annual celebrity pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. Opening ceremonies with the Mascot Parade on the Rideau Hall grounds start at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a series of activities for the whole family until 3 p.m., including the popular B*A*S*H* tent the Bear Ambulatory Surgical Hospital to repair teddy bears carnival games, face painting, children's rides, a petting zoo, clowns and tours of the residence.
Organized by the CHEO Foundation, the Teddy Bears' Picnic is a special thank you to the community for its support to the hospital. Don't forget to bring your teddy bear!

WHEN: Saturday, July 9, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain date: July 10)
PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
No parking on-site. Shuttle buses will provide transportation to Rideau Hall from the parking lots at the following locations: the Canada Aviation Museum at 11 Aviation Parkway, and the National Research Council (NRC) building at 100 Sussex Drive.
Limited on-site parking will be available only to persons with disabilities through the Princess Avenue gate.
Rideau Hall is on the OC Transpo number 3 bus route.
Bike racks will also be available outside the grounds.
OPENING OF THE GROUNDS
Four gates will open to the public at 7 a.m.: Thomas Street, Princess Avenue and both MacKay Street gates.
