As an international leader in the design of composite
aircraft components, Composites Atlantic is a Nova Scotia
success story. To build on that success, the Honourable
Joseph McGuire, Minister of the Atlantic Canada
Opportunities Agency, was pleased to announce in Halifax
today that the company is receiving a $391,533

Minister McGuire. "The company recognizes that innovation
is the key to competing successfully on the international
stage, and ACOA is proud to facilitate that kind of
success.""This company thrives on being an international leader in
aeronautical component design," said Composites Atlantic
CEO Maurice Guitton. "It is also a source of pride to us
that we have helped put Nova Scotia, and Atlantic Canada,
on the world map in this industry." Established in 1993 with 10 employees, Composites Atlantic
currently has a workforce of more than 230 in a rural area
of Nova Scotia. More than 50 per cent of the company's
current activities began as research and development, and
were then developed into full-scale production programs. The company's list of clients includes many of the world's
major aircraft manufacturers. As a result, more that 80 per
