Foreign Affairs Minister Pierre Pettigrew will be in New York from September 13 to 21,
2005, to participate in the United Nations 2005 World Summit and the 60th session of
the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
On September 21, Minister Pettigrew will deliver Canada’s address to UNGA. On the
margins of the General Assembly, he will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with
foreign ministers.
During the week, subject to his schedule, Minister Pettigrew will make himself available
to meet with the press at the delegates’ entrance.
