OTTAWA, September 22, 2005 -- The Department of Canadian Heritage will provide a technical briefing on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. regarding the installation of the Governor General Designate of Canada on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. The briefing will be held at the National Press Gallery, 150 Wellington Street, Ottawa.
On September 23, at 11 a.m., it will be possible to download a copy of the scenario for the events surrounding the installation of the Governor General Designate by visiting the Canadian Heritage Web site at www.canadianheritage.gc.ca/ggd-media.

The installation of the Governor General Designate, Madame Michaëlle Jean, will commence at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in the Senate Chamber.
