For immediate release
The Honourable Joe Fontana, Minister of Labour and Housing and the Honourable Sue Barnes, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-Status Indians, will announce tomorrow in London that the Government of Canada will provide over $10.8 million to promote a skilled workforce in the transportation sector. These funds will be provided through the Sector Council Program.
Following the announcement, Minister Fontana will be available to answer questions from the media.
