Minister Dion To Announce Project Green Initiative

OTTAWA, October 17, 2005 – Media representatives
are advised that the Honourable Stéphane Dion, Minister of the
Environment, will address the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA)
Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. At the meeting the
Minister will announce the launch of WindScope, a new wind energy software
program. This initiative is part of Project Green, a set of policies
and programs aimed at supporting a sustainable environment, healthy population
and competitive economy.
Media availability will follow the speech.
