OTTAWA — National Science and Technology Week
is a week-long celebration of the science and technology that affects our everyday
lives. During the week, the Government of Canada demonstrates its leadership
in science and technology and inspires children to pursue education and careers
in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
One of the highlights of the week is the Science FunFest on October 16. Come
visit a "rock doctor," check out an energy-efficient vehicle, observe
science demonstrations, discover Canada's first "rock stars" in Library
and Archives Canada's exciting new Web site, and join in natural resources
experiments. Find out just how exciting science and technology can be while
taking part in events at Natural Resources Canada.
