Ottawa, November 22, 2005
The Honourable Reg Alcock, President of
the Treasury Board and Minister Responsible for the Canadian Wheat Board, will
table the annual report entitled Canada's Performance 2005 in the House
of Commons at approximately 3:00 p.m. on November 23, 2005.
Canada's Performance 2005 reports on how we are doing as a nation in
three main policy areas - Sustainable Economy, Canada's Social Foundations and
Canada's Place in the World - highlighting both our strengths and areas for
improvement. Canada's Performance gives parliamentarians and Canadians a
whole-of-government perspective from which to review the performance of
departments and agencies against their planning and performance reports. The report and related documents will be posted on the Treasury Board
Secretariat's Internet site (www.tbs-sct.gc.ca), and a limited
number of copies will be available in the Press Gallery following the
tabling.
