Ottawa/Quebec City – February 21, 2006 – The Provincial Review Committee (COMEX) and the Federal Review Panel, the review bodies, announce revised dates for the public hearings scheduled in Waskaganish and Chisasibi on the social and environmental impacts of the Eastmain-1-A and Rupert Diversion project and its acceptability. The new dates are:

* As announced previously, the review bodies will remain available for additional sessions in the following days in accordance with the needs of the communities.
The previously announced dates for public hearings in Mistissini, Nemaska, Eastmain. Wemindji, Chibougamau and Montreal remain unchanged.
The venues of the public hearings will be announced shortly.
