International Trade Minister and Minister for the Pacific Gateway and the Vancouver-
Whistler Olympics David L. Emerson will present the Industry Award for Export
Performance at the GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence on March 31, 2006.
The Industry Award for Export Performance is sponsored by Export Development
Canada and is presented to an environmental technology or service company that has
demonstrated the drive, talent and innovative spirit to have successfully carved out a
place in the global environmental marketplace.
GLOBE 2006, the ninth edition of this biennial conference and trade fair, brings
together participants from around the world to address issues that lie at the heart of
sustainable development and environmental management, and generates new
business opportunities. Senior business executives, government officials and leaders in
environmental innovation from over 70 nations meet at this forum to exchange ideas,
cultivate partnerships and conduct business.
