OTTAWA -- The remains of Private Robert Costall, a
soldier from the 1st Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry,
based in Edmonton, Alta., are scheduled to return home to Canada at noon
Saturday.
Where: 8 Wing Trenton, Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Ontario.
When: Saturday, April 1, at 12 p.m.
What: Media are invited to view the arrival though no interviews will be
given.
The Minister of National Defence, Gordon O'Connor, Chief of the Defence
Staff, General Rick Hillier, Commander Canadian Expeditionary Force Command,
Major-General Michel Gauthier, and the Commander of Land Force Central Area,
Brigadier-General Guy Thibault, will be present to pay their respects.
Private Costall died following a firefight with insurgents in northern
Helmand province, approximately 110 km northwest of Kandahar, March 28, 2006.
