The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of the Atlantic
Canada Opportunities Agency, will speak about Canada’s international priorities at the
Whitehorse Diplomatic Forum on June 26, 2006.
The Diplomatic Forum is an annual initiative of the Office of the Chief of Protocol at
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada. It brings together almost all of the
foreign and Commonwealth heads of diplomatic missions who are accredited to
Canada. The Diplomatic Forum is intended to provide heads of mission with a series of
briefings on current Canadian public policy issues that will assist them in understanding
and interpreting Canada and Canadians for their respective national capitals.
