CORNWALL, ON— Media are invited to attend the change of command ceremony for the Canadian Forces Recruiting Group (CFRG) on Wednesday, August 30 at 9 a.m.
Colonel Kevin Cotten has been the Commander of CFRG since June 2004. He will be succeeded by Commodore Roger MacIsaac, from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, who served most recently as Director General Reserves and Cadets.
Rear-Admiral Tyrone Pile, Chief Military Personnel, will preside over the ceremony, which will also include the enrolment of new recruits and a certificate presentation to first-time RCMP participants of the CFRG National Recruiting Course.
A reception with light refreshments for guests, parade participants and media will take place immediately following the ceremony.

Where: Nav Canada Centre (Marc Garneau Room), 1950 Montreal Road, Cornwall, Ontario.
Media Opportunities: A media availability is scheduled with Rear-Admiral Pile, Commodore MacIsaac, Colonel Cotten, the new recruits and participants of the recruiting course at 10 a.m., following the ceremony.
