Ottawa, September 13, 2006 The Arar Commission's Factual Inquiry Report will be
delivered to the Governor in Council on Monday September 18, 2006.
Media Lockup
A media lockup will be held at the Conference Centre, 2 Rideau Street, Ottawa beginning at
12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Monday September 18, 2006.
Entry is restricted to journalists accredited through the Parliamentary Press Gallery.

Statement by Commissioner O'Connor
Dennis O'Connor, Commissioner of the Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in
relation to Maher Arar will make a public statement - and will not take questions - at
approximately 3:15 p.m. on Monday September 18, 2006 at the Committee Room at the
Conference Centre. The prepared statement will be followed by a press conference by
Commission Lead Counsel Paul Cavalluzzo.
Documents will be made available on site and will be posted on line shortly after release.
