OTTAWA, Ont. — The remains of four Canadian soldiers killed in the suicide attack that occurred September 18 in Afghanistan are scheduled to return home to Canada tomorrow.
Where: 8 Wing Trenton, Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Ontario.
When: Saturday, September 23, 1 p.m.
What: As per the family’s request, media are invited to view the arrival, although no interviews will be given.
Killed are:
- Corporal Glen Harold Arnold, 2 Field Ambulance, based at CFB Petawawa, Ontario.
- Corporal Shane Patrick Keating, 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry (2 PPCLI), based at CFB Shilo, Manitoba.
- Corporal Keith Ian Morley, 2 PPCLI, based at CFB Shilo, Manitoba..
- Private David Robert James Byers, 2 PPCLI, based at CFB Shilo, Manitoba.
Present to pay their respects will be The Minister of National Defence, The Honourable Gordon O’Connor, and other dignitaries.
