Media Advisory - RCMP uncover a contraband tobacco smuggling ring, Fredericton, N.B.

The RCMP Customs and Excise Section with the assistance of the RCMP Federal Enforcement Section, District 2 Oromocto RCMP, Fredericton Police Force, and Ontario Provincial Police dismantled a smuggling ring which distributed contraband tobacco from Ontario to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Sgt. Richard Martel "J" Division Customs and Excise Section will be available to respond to media questions and for a photo session at the "J" Division Headquarters, 1445 Regent Street, Fredericton, N.B. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
