Corporate Post offices open December 23

Ottawa - Many post offices normally closed on Saturdays, will open for four hours on Saturday, December 23.
Canada Post has taken the necessary steps to ensure that customers have access to parcels available for pick-up on December 22. "With Christmas holidays falling on a Monday and Tuesday this year, some communities would be without postal services for an extended period of time," said Michel Diotte, vice-president, Operations. "By having most post offices open on Saturday December 23, customers will be able to pick up parcels in time for Christmas day."
Retail postal outlets usually open on Saturday and Sunday will open at their regular hours of operation.
In communities with door-to-door delivery, Canada Post employees and contractors will be delivering parcels on Saturday, December 23.
All corporate post offices will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26, with normal operations resuming Wednesday, December 27. Authorized Dealers (such as post offices found in drug stores and corner stores), however, will be open as per the hours of the host business.
