Television networks will be able to obtain a copy of the Governor General's message through the Parliamentary Press Gallery pool feed (OP line) on Thursday, December 28, 2006, at 1 p.m., or by calling Ms. Ellen Chassé, at CBC, at (613) 288-6323, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Embargo: please hold until December 31, 2006, at midnight.
Radio
Radio stations can obtain an audio copy of the Governor General's message by contacting CBC Radio Master Control at (613) 288-7009. Embargo: please hold until December 31, 2006, at midnight.
Editors
The text of the Governor General's New Year message will be released via CNW Inc. on Friday, December 29, 2006, and will be available the same day on the Governor General's Web site at www.gg.ca .
