Vancouver, British Colombia, February 14, 2007 — Come by the Canada Pavilion when you visit this year’s BC Home & Garden Show from February 21 to 25, 2007! It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the many programs and services offered to Canadians and to meet representatives of many departments and agencies of the Government of Canada.
Visitors of all ages are invited to discover The Life of a Canadian Soldier, a heart-warming presentation developed by Veterans Affairs Canada. The theatrical re-enactment uses artifacts, mementos and the personal memories of our veterans to bring to life the Battle of Vimy Ridge and life as it was in the trenches of France during World War 1.
In addition, our mascot Bravo will be on hand to entertain the young and young at heart!
Come and learn more about the use of pesticides, transport and security and the numerous museum attractions.
The Government of Canada’s participation at the BC Home & Garden Show is part of the Canada Pavilion’s coast-to-coast tour with stops in 10 Canadian cities between June 2006 and March 2007.
The Canada Pavilion is a major exhibition that travels across the country, and since 2000 has provided the opportunity to more than 6 million visitors to meet Government of Canada representatives. The Canada Pavilion is the flagship of the Government of Canada Exhibitions Program.
