TORONTO (ON) – Soldiers, airmen and women, and sailors will, over the next month, arrive at Canadian Forces Base Trenton from Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Main flights open to the media will arrive as per this schedule:

The returning troops have served for six months in Kandahar as part of Joint Task Force Afghanistan (JTF AFG). Approximately 2,500 Canadian Forces personnel currently serve under NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), which contributes troops to the United Nation’s authorized mission in Afghanistan.
The JTF AFG Battle Group and the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) are comprised of personnel from all across Canada, but primarily from units stationed in Petawawa, Ontario, Shilo, Manitoba, Edmonton, Alberta and Valcartier, Quebec.
Journalists wishing to cover this event, may do so by coming to CFB Trenton Airport terminal, located at the East end of the runway.
