February 3, 2007 (OTTAWA) — The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, issued this statement following a story which appeared in the Globe and Mail today entitled: “Government review proposes slashing 300 prison-guard jobs”.“I would like to clarify the story entitled “Government review proposes slashing 300 prison-guard jobs”.
