Canada Economic Development, today announced that
Groupe ADF Inc. of Terrebonne has been awarded $344,500 in repayable
funding for the purchase of manufacturing equipment to increase its

60 jobs over the next 12 months.
"This is good news for the Lanaudière economy. Our government considers this
project of strategic importance because of the positive impacts it will generate
in terms of job creation, innovation, competitiveness, major investment,
expertise-building and influence on foreign markets. The support Canada's new
government is lending Groupe ADF is also motivated by the role this project will
play in furthering sustainable development by reducing energy consumption and
material waste," stated Minister Blackburn.
"In addition to giving our enterprise greater production capacity and
flexibility, the project we are carrying out, with the support of
Canada Economic Development, will enable us to continue carving out
new niches within our traditional markets, primarily within North America. This
assistance will give us the tools we need to become more competitive and better
satisfy the growing demand for complex structural products," explained
Groupe ADF Chief Financial Officer Louis Potvin.

installation of complex metallic frames and fabricated and architectural metals.
The company's products are intended for three main segments of the
non-residential construction market: commercial and institutional buildings

etc.); industrial complexes (power stations, petrochemical installations,
automotive assembly lines); and public infrastructure (airport installations,
aerospace facilities, bridges and viaducts).
The enterprise, which operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant with a
highly-skilled and experienced work force, has earned a solid reputation as a
