Gatineau, Quebec, March 30, 2007 The
Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of
Canada Economic Development, today announced a $200,000 repayable
contribution to Axentra Corporation, for the commercialization of its new
HipServ product on the U.S. and European markets.
Located in Gatineau, this company offers individuals and SMEs a technological
platform, providing them in particular with an integrated computer network
management, data storage, content management and remote access solution.
"Canada's new government is proud to support the Outaouais
region's high?technology sector and enable Axentra to play its role fully
within the cluster of innovative enterprises in Canada's capital," stated
Minister Blackburn. "Moreover, our action generates a direct leverage
effect for that SME, since this project represents $750,000 in investment. This
initiative from Canada Economic Development ties in with our strategic
target of enhancing enterprises' competitiveness, particularly through the
international commercialization of innovative products."

Canada Economic Development enables us to position ourselves on the
U.S. and European markets through various events such as MacWorld, the
Consumer Electronics Show and CeBIT, so as to present HipServ
to leading manufacturers and service providers," stated
Marc-Antoine Benglia, CEO of Axentra. "The success we have been enjoying
since HipServ was launched early in 2007 represents a tangible
outcome from our presence at those trade events."
The marketing of HipServ has led to the creation of four new
jobs, which are added to the current complement of 10 employees.
