Minister of Finance to Address the Conseil du patronat du Québec and to Visit Varennes, Quebec

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will be the guest speaker at a breakfast hosted by the Conseil du patronat du Québec on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. The Minister is scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 8:20 a.m.
The Minister will speak about the Government's economic and fiscal priorities as they relate to the 2007 federal budget.
The event will take place in the Salon Printemps of the Omni Mont-Royal Hotel, 1050 Sherbrooke Street West, Montréal, Quebec.
Minister Flaherty will hold a media availability at approximately 9:00 a.m., in the L'Atrium room.
Afterwards, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Minister Flaherty will be joined by the Honourable Christian Paradis, Secretary of State (Agriculture), in Varennes, Quebec, to highlight a key Budget 2007 environmental measure by visiting the new GreenField Ethanol plant at 3300 Marie-Victorin Boulevard.
