Minister of Finance to Address the Whitby Chamber of Commerce

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance,
will be the guest speaker at a breakfast hosted by the Whitby Chamber of
Commerce on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. The Minister is scheduled
to begin speaking at approximately 8:30 a.m.
The Minister will speak about the Government's economic
and fiscal priorities as they relate to the 2007 federal budget.
The event will take place at the Tosca Banquet and
Conference Centre, 800 Champlain Avenue, in Oshawa, Ontario.
Minister Flaherty will hold a media availability at
approximately 9:15 a.m.
Afterwards at 10:00 a.m., the Minister will
participate in a photo opportunity at Tim Horton's, 609 Victoria Street
West, in Whitby.
