Minister of Finance to Visit New York City

The Honorable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will visit New York City on Friday, March 23, 2007, to meet with senior members of the business community and address the Canadian Association of New York.
Minister Flaherty will be the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Canadian Association of New York.
The Minister will speak about Canada's economic and fiscal priorities as they relate to the 2007 federal budget.
The event will take place at the Pegasus Room (part of the Rainbow Rooms), 64th floor, 30 Rockefeller Plaza (49th/50 streets between 5th and 6th avenues in New York City. The Minister will speak at approximately 1:15 p.m.
There will be a question-and-answer session with members after the Minister's address, followed by a media availability at approximately 2:00 p.m.
