May contain hard plastic pieces
This affects only the CARAMEL version called
CARAMEL KIT KAT CHUNKY.
TORONTO, ON - As a precautionary measure, Nestlé Canada is voluntarily recalling CARAMEL KIT KAT
CHUNKY bars, and is warning consumer not to consume this bar. This product is
manufactured in Australia and they have recalled the product due to the
possibility that some packs may contain hard pieces of plastic. There were no
injuries reported. Although Nestlé Canada has not received any complaints,
Nestlé is recalling all codes of this nationally distributed product as a
precautionary measure.
This affects only the CARAMEL version called
CARAMEL KIT KAT CHUNKY.
Consumers are advised to discard their CARAMEL KIT KAT CHUNKY bars and call
1-866-891-0561 to arrange for a refund. Nestlé has notified all customers
to remove the product from their shelves. The CFIA is monitoring the
effectiveness of the recall.
