His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond takes part in the Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival

OTTAWA-His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond will take part in a public interview and a round-table discussion at the Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival at the Delta Centre-Ville Hotel, 777 University Street, Montreal, on April 28, 2007. The interview/discussion will take place at 4:30 p.m. and the round table will take place at 8:00 p.m.
As part of the Face à face series, Anne Lagacé Dowson of CBC Radio will conduct the interview, which will be in English.
Authors Fred Reed, Kader Abdolah and Shahrzad Arshadi will join Mr. Lafond in the round_table discussion, which will be led by Aline Apostolska from PEN Québec. This bilingual debate will focus on Iran.
The Blue Metropolis Foundation is a Montreal-based non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people from different cultures together to share the pleasures of reading and writing. The Foundation organizes three sets of activities: Literacy and the Literary, educational programs, and the Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival. The Festival is a multilingual event that attracts the biggest names in world literature.
