National Volunteer Week April 15-21

The people who volunteer with the RCMP number in the tens of thousands across the country. The relationship between the RCMP and the many volunteers attached to it varies widely:

Some volunteers administer provincial or community programs and work out of RCMP detachment buildings.
Others belong to external organizations that work in partnership with the RCMP.
Auxiliary constables have a very close working relationship with the RCMP.

In whatever capacity these volunteers offer their time and energy, the RCMP is deeply grateful for their contribution to community safety and security.
RCMP employees are also volunteers in many capacities and give of their own personal time in support of many community activities.
