April 16, 2007— Today, the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, issued this statement following the tragic shooting incident at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.“The shock and horror of this act has reverberated throughout Canada.
