Department of Finance Canada officials will provide a background briefing on the upcoming G8 Finance Ministers meeting being held in Potsdam, Germany, May 18-19, 2007.

The briefing is for background information only, not for attribution.

The briefing will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 22C at the Department of Finance Canada, 140 O'Connor St., Ottawa.
Media representatives wishing to participate in the briefing by conference call must dial 1-888-265-0464 and refer to reservation #6974798 at least 10 minutes before the call is scheduled to begin.
