Canada's New Government Grants $100,000 in Funding to Foxx Innovation Inc.

Sainte-Marie, Quebec, May 18, 2007 Acting on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, the Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Industry, today announced the awarding of $100,000 in repayable funding to Foxx Innovation Inc. of Sainte-Marie to enable the firm to introduce various quick-mount accessories for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to the U.S. market.
Foxx Innovation develops and sells specially-designed ATV accessories such as the XKV-TOR backhoe and C-ROS front loader, which are particularly useful for construction and landscaping work.
"Our support reflects the determination of Canada's new government to facilitate and bolster the development of Quebec's small and medium-sized enterprises and make them increasingly competitive in the international marketplace. Canada's new government is therefore proud to lend its support to a project that combines innovation and export, two key pillars of the kind of strong and dynamic economy we are working to build for today's and tomorrow's generations. The 2007 budget provides for a series of measures that seek to make Canada a leader in science and technology by capitalizing on our existing strengths, concentrating our efforts on those key sectors where Canada is on the brink of achieving world excellence, and better harmonizing investments in research with business needs so as to produce a real impact on the market," stated Minister Bernier.
"This contribution will ensure that our company is better equipped to promote the many advantages of our innovative range of products and capitalize on the huge potential of the U.S. market," added Foxx Innovation President Roger Vachon.
