Minister of Finance to Address the Toronto Board of Trade

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will be the guest speaker at a breakfast hosted by the Toronto Board of Trade on Monday, May 14, 2007. The Minister is scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 8:00 a.m.
The Minister will discuss government initiatives to strengthen the national economy and improve the fairness of the Canadian tax system.
The event will take place at the Toronto Board of Trade Downtown Centre, First Canadian Place, in Toronto, Ontario.
Minister Flaherty will hold a media availability at approximately 8:30 a.m.
