How to Get the Governor General's Canada Day Message

AddressThe Governor General will deliver the Canada Day Address on Parliament Hill during the midday televised celebrations. The text of that address will be released via MarketWire on Friday, June 29 (under embargo until it is delivered) and will be posted at www.gg.ca on July 1st.
T.V. MessageThe television message can be obtained by pool feed through the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery. On July 1st, the Governor General's television message will be broadcast in English by the CBC at 11 p.m. in Québec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, at 12 a.m. in the Maritimes, and at 12:30 a.m. in Newfoundland. The message will be broadcast in French (SRC) at 11 p.m.
Radio MessageAudio feeds of the message in French or English can be obtained by calling Master Control in Ottawa at (613) 288-7009.
