"The Award of Merit is presented annually in recognition of the immeasurable contributions our outstanding volunteers make toward the development and promotion of standards," says Pat Keindel, president, standards, CSA. "Without the extensive knowledge, hard work, and devotion of our volunteers, many of the standards that impact our daily lives, contribute to the betterment of society and advance Canadian economic well-being, would not exist. These volunteers are owed an enormous debt of gratitude for their selfless efforts."

He is grateful for the support of Technical Services, Corporate Services, Correctional Operations and Programs Sector and the Commissioner in fostering CSC’s participation in these standards writing activities.
